St. Louis and St. Ignace II Road Signs - a little inconsistent

This morning I took a few minutes to try and take some photos at St. Louis and St. Ignace II. The curious part is that while there is no highway marker on Hwy 12 for St. Ignace II (at least that I saw), there is a marker along the road to indicate where to turn in. The reverse is true for St. Louis. As you head west past Victoria Harbour, a sign says St. Louis 2 km. Another sign indicates a left turn off the highway. And then there is no more signage. If I have missed them, and someone knows whereof they are, please post a comment to that effect. Thanks.

Ste Ignace ll is currently stated to be on the west 1/2 of lot 5 Conc 9 of Tay. Or Rosemount Rd south off Hwy 12 (Duffy's store)on the LHS just past the 2nd bridge over the Sturgeon River.
Ste Louis is currently stated to be on the west 1/2 of lot 11 Conc 6 of Tay. Or Newton St south off Hwy 12 to Granny Whites SR, turn R,(west) just past the bridge over the Hog River.
I will post more on thses locations as I have concerns over the accuracy of both sites.

is Duffy's store the gas station? cuz if it isn't, it is gone, the building is gone from the small used car lot operation. On the St Louis side of things, the only historic marker i saw was a monument to an Anglican church.

The Ste Louis site is on Granny Whites SR between the 5th and 6th of Tay, north side of the road west of the river.

Yes- the entrance to St. Louis is a bit hidden. You have to turn off of Newton on Granny White and it is an immediate left. Be careful you don't turn into the second driveway on your left since it is a private home. I think St. Louis is a Federal Historical site while St. Ignace II is not (anymore). Recent archaeological speculation questions its authenticity.

Rosemount used to be Con 8. Is there also an entrance off on Con 9 (Gratrix)? Everyone keeps mentioning Con 9, but the entrance I know is off of Con 8 (Rosemount).

@ Bonnie - sometimes there is confusion between what is meant by a concession. It is the land between the roads that are the concession, not the roads themselves hence the Ste Ignace site referenced is in concession 9 but accessed off of Rosemount Rd that as you correctly point out was known as Con 8 Tay twp.
You are also correct in noting that there is no access to the Ste Ignace site from Gratrix Rd or what was known as Con 9 Tay twp.
Thank you for your interest and observations on an issue that can make site locations confusing.
