Champlain and Sagard available online at Champlain Society Website and The Jesuit Relations also available online are the primary sources, The Children of Aataentsic by Trigger is a good comprehensive single read.
I would also recommend Lucien Campeau "Jesuit Mission among the Hurons 1634 1650". It was originally printed in French (1987) but has been recently translated with limited copies. I think the Museum and Ste. Marie have copies.
Me again- I have copies of the Mission to the Hurons by Campeau since I produce and distribute them. As well, please check my reasearch library inventory by going to the Shrine's archive page and locating the link. I have added books since last year so it still has to be updated.
thanks for the information, gentlemen.
