At the May 2009 meeting of the chapter Trevor gave a talk about the excavation work at the Fort Willow site NW of Barrie, Ontario. This excavation work involves secondary school students from the area.
We encourage the practice of ethical archaeology in the discovery of the history of Huronia (northern Simcoe County) through archaeological research and discussion of the historic record and oral tradition.
