Nov. 10th 11:30 AM Jesuits in English Canada info session re: Industrial site proposed near Ste. Marie Among the Hurons

,Midland Town Council is considering approval of an  industrial  development, a recycling plant, near to the location of Martyrs' Shrine and Ste. Marie Among the Hurons on the west side of the Wye River.

I quote from an email I received about an information session from the Jesuits in English Canada about this proposed development.

November 7, 2011

The Martyrs’ Shrine is contacting you on behalf of The Jesuits in English Canada about a proposed recycling facility to be erected in Midland Ontario at 1001 Franke Kindred Rd. (the South/East corner of Hwy 12 and Franke Kindred Rd.)

The Jesuits in English Canada are having an open house information session on Thursday November 10th from 11:30pm -1:00pm at Sainte- Marie among the Hurons, located at 16164, Hwy 12 East, Midland Ontario, in the facilities Training Center (light refreshments will be provided).  The Jesuits in English Canada are inviting you to this meeting where we will share information and discuss possible actions with your help.

Please forward this email on to any persons, community businesses, stakeholders or partners you feel would be interested in attending this information session.

On behalf of the Jesuits in English Canada, the Martyrs’ Shrine sincerely thanks you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to seeing you at the information session on Thursday.

I took a series of photographs standing on the trail at the steel railroad bridge that crosses Hwy 12 on the west side of the Wye River.  This is alongside the NE corner of the lot where the proposed plant would stand.    The two shots of Ste. Marie were taken further east along the trail from the bridge over the Wye River which is about 100 yards from the lot.

Thanks for adding the photos to this Bill - they will help orient people to the location of this proposed development.

I think the open house starts at 11:30 - not 10AM as indicated in the header.

must have been wishful thinking on my part to get the start time wrong. I have a medical review in Penetang at 1:15 pm on that day. I will try to get it shifted slightly. thanks for catching my error. next time please just edit the error on your own.
