Huronia 1660
The estimated population of Huronia was estimated to be between 20 and 30,000 in the early 1600s.

Archaeology

The study of human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains. Archaeology is a foundation of Ontario heritage.



2015 was the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain and Father Le Caron travels in Huronia 1615-1616.
