We are looking for your suggestions

Over the past 6 years the Huronia chapter has attracted the interest of over 100 individuals to chapter activities and events yet our membership numbers have remained about the same (25-30) each year. We are looking for your suggestions as to how we can retain more members year to year and encourage some of our "interested parties" into becoming members.

Your comments would be appreciated.

March 12th Huronia chapter members meeting.

Please be advised that our guest and presenter, Chris Dalton, will be unable to attend our meeting this evening due to weather conditions in his area. Our meeting will still take place regardless as we have other business to attend to and have been offered a brief fill in presentation on the great lakes by Peter Thor. Our numbers will be down but we will proceed with the meeting.

At this month's meeting we are pleased to welcome Chris Dalton to our meeting.
Chris will be discussing his role as Director of Chapter Services for the OAS and sharing with us his experiences as an avocational archaeologist in Ontario.

Christopher Dalton - is a carpenter by trade and archaeologist by hobby, whose interest in archaeology has been life-long. He has an avocational archaeology license for Ontario and is a life member of the London Chapter. Chris has worked extensively with John MacDonald mapping sites in the Blair area and more recently with Dr. Chris Ellis excavating the Davidson Site in Parkhill, Ontario. He is currently Director of Chapter Services for the OAS.
